Terms & Conditions

  1. About us.  Elite Careers is a division and trading name of Digital Advantage Consulting Ltd.

  2. Definitions.

    “we/us/our” means Digital Advantage Consulting Ltd (trading as Elite Careers).

    “you/your” means the client.

    “meeting”, “session”, or “consultation” means the enacted appointment that is arranged between you and us.

    “package”, means bundled services offered at a reduced fee rate compared to purchasing individual consultation sessions separately. A Gift Package is a type of package.

    “fee/fees" means the price of a consultation.

  3. Consultation Fee.  The fee for a consultation will be published on our website.  We reserve the right to alter the fee.  Fee alteration will not apply retrospectively to previously confirmed consultations.

  4. Payment Terms. The full fee payment for a consultation is due at the time of booking an appointment.

  5. Appointment Confirmation.  A confirmation email will be sent to you upon successful booking an appointment including details of the appointment date & time, and the Zoom link to join the meeting. Please ensure the contact information that you provide is accurate.  If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, then it is your responsibility to follow this up with us.

  6. Appointment Reminders. As part of our service delivery, we will send you appointment reminders by email. By booking an appointment, you agree to receive email reminders.

  7. Cancellation and Refund Policy. If you cancel a meeting before its scheduled time, you will be fully refunded. We will aim to process refunds within 48 hours. The actual time taken for you to receive your refund may be longer and depend on the payment platforms that we use (we use PayPal and Stripe) and the time it takes for banks to process the refund. Once a scheduled meeting has occurred, that meeting time is deemed to have been validly consumed. No refunds are therefore offered once a meeting has occurred.

  8. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Us.  We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a meeting due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or have the option to reschedule your meeting.

  9. Missed Meetings. If there are factors or extenuating circumstances beyond your control that force you to miss a meeting you will be given the opportunity to reschedule the missed meeting at no further cost to you. If you do not take up this opportunity and do not re-book within 14 days then the missed meeting will be considered as ‘spent’ and nonrefundable.

  10. Package Expiry. All packages must be fully utilised within 180 days of the original purchase date. This means that all meetings included in a package must occur within this 180-day period. Packages will expire automatically after 180 days and, once expired, cannot be redeemed, refunded, or exchanged either in full or in part.

  11. Refund of Packages. Packages are refundable within 30 days of purchase and subject to the following: If none of the services within a package have been used, a full refund will be given. Otherwise, the discounted value of any services used in the package, including any of the consultant’s time used outside of online meetings, will be deducted from the amount refunded. We will aim to process refunds within 48 hours. The actual time taken for you to receive your refund may be longer and depend on the payment platforms that we use (we use PayPal and Stripe) and the time it takes for banks to process the refund. To initiate a refund, please email a copy of your receipt to contact@elitecareers.co.uk with the subject line “Refund Request.” Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment only.

  12. Intellectual Property.  All materials, including slides, graphics/visual, frameworks, models, techniques, and handouts are our intellectual property and unauthorised distribution or reproduction is prohibited.

  13. Privacy. Privacy and confidentiality are assured. You and we will keep information relating to our consultations private unless required by law. Meetings may not be recorded without prior consent.

  14. Missed Meetings and Code of Conduct.  You should join a meeting on time. If you have not joined a meeting after 15 minutes of its start time then we will deem this as a missed meeting and the meeting will end. If you miss a meeting that has been paid for in advance, then you will have one opportunity to reschedule it. You must reschedule the meeting within 14 days. If you do not take up this opportunity and do not re-reschedule within 14 days then the missed meeting will be considered as ‘spent’ and nonrefundable. If you join a meeting late then the meeting will still end at the designated time and there will be no prorata refund for the time that you missed. You must maintain professionalism and respect for others in all interactions during a meeting.

  15. Limitation of Liability.   

    We will not be held liable for any technical issues that you encounter during online sessions - you are responsible for your own technical setup and equipment.

    We will not be liable for any malfunction or unavailability of third-party platforms or software used in meetings.

    We will not be liable to you or your employer for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise arising under or in connection with use of content covered in meetings. 

    We will not be liable for loss of profits, sales, business, revenue, business interruption,  or any other consequential loss or damage.

    We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by malware or cyber attacks on your system or equipment due to your use of our materials and content. 

    Use of our service does not guarantee that you will secure a job offer, or successfully progress in your career, or successfully resolve work-related challenges.

  16. Changes to these terms.  We may revise these terms at any time by amending the information on this page.  Please check this page periodically for any changes we make as they are binding on you.

  17. Agreement to Terms.  By completing an appointment booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
