Appointments

  • Booking an appointment is quick and straightforward. Each consulting service page displays the available appointment options.

    Start by selecting your preferred date, then choose a suitable time. You may either select “Select and continue” to proceed with your booking or “Select and add another time” if you wish to book an additional appointment for the same service.

    Next, enter your name, telephone number, and email address. You will also be asked to briefly outline the specific area of your career or professional development where you would like support — please complete this section to help us prepare for your session.

    Click “Continue to Payment” to enter your payment details. Once payment has been successfully processed, an appointment receipt and confirmation will be sent to your email address.

  • When you book an appointment, you will be sent a confirmation email that contains a link to join your online meeting. Please keep this email safe since you will need to refer to it for the joining link.

  • The free 15-minute meeting service can only be used once per client. If you need more consultation time then please book one of the paid consultation services.

  • No. You are not obliged or required to book a paid consultation after the free 15-minute meeting.

  • This depends on the nature and extent of your specific needs. We can try and determine this in the initial free 15-minute meeting. Meetings can be booked on an as-needed basis so you are not locked into booking and paying for more meetings than you need. Professional/career development is a crucial, if not critical activity, so do not underestimate the time needed.

  • During your free 15-minute initial meeting, your specific needs will be diagnosed and assessed. This needs assessment will then form the basis of discussions in subsequent 1-hour consultations. The nature and content of these meetings will be conducted in an agile and responsive way - adapting to the discussion that emerges.

  • Yes, privacy and confidentiality are assured. Meetings are a safe space for you to discuss any issues regarding your career/professional development.

  • Yes - you can reschedule or cancel a meeting at any time before the scheduled date and time. To do so, click the Reschedule/Cancel button in the confirmation email you received when you booked the meeting. This will take you to a page displaying your booking details, where you can select Reschedule or Cancel as required.

  • On occasion, there may be factors or extenuating circumstances beyond your control that force you to miss a meeting. If you do miss a meeting that you have paid for in advance, then you can reschedule it. You must reschedule the meeting within 14 days. If you do not take up this opportunity and do not reschedule within 14 days then the missed meeting will be considered as ‘spent’ and nonrefundable.

  • Creating an Elite Careers account allows you to log in at any time to view your scheduled appointments and your package codes. To create an account, click the Sign Up link in the Appointment Options or Packages section for the relevant consulting service. Once registered, you can log in to access all appointments and package codes linked to your account.

    Important: To ensure your appointments or package codes appear in your account, you must log in before purchasing or booking them. Items purchased or booked while you are not logged in will not be associated with your account. You will need to log in for each type of appointment or package you wish to purchase or book.

    Creating an Elite Careers account is optional. You will always receive a confirmation email for every appointment you book and each package you purchase, which you can refer to whenever needed.

  • Yes. An Elite Careers consultation programme can count as formal professional development activity. You need to pursue this with your manager. Once you have approval, your workplace can go ahead and pay for the consultation sessions using the normal Elite Careers payment process. If a work colleague is booking on your behalf, it is important they use your email address in the booking process since confirmation emails and the link to join a meeting will be sent by email - you will need access to these details.

  • Yes. If you cancel a meeting before its scheduled time, you will be fully refunded. If your consultant needs to cancel a meeting before its scheduled time, then you will be offered the opportunity to reschedule or receive a refund. Refunds will be processed in accordance with Elite Career’s terms and conditions.

  • Once a scheduled meeting has occurred, that meeting time is deemed to have been validly consumed. No refunds are therefore offered once a meeting has occurred.

Packages

  • Packages are bundled services offered at a reduced fee rate compared to purchasing individual consultation sessions separately.

    For example, an Interview Preparation package may include three hours of consultation at a lower cost than booking three separate sessions. Packages provide better value for money and can make it easier for you to plan your support, to stay consistent and motivated with your engagement, and progress while saving on overall fees.

    Packages are shown on each service web page under a ‘Package Options’ heading.  Choose the package that you wish to purchase and add it to the cart and then follow the checkout procedure.  You will receive an email with your order confirmation/receipt.

  • Gift Package are Packages that include a downloadable Gift Certificate with a unique redemption code, making it easy to share and giving the recipient seamless access to the Elite Careers consulting experience.

    Gift Packages are ideal for friends, loved ones, or colleagues navigating workplace challenges, partners embarking on a new chapter in their career, graduates entering the professional world, or individuals preparing for a job search or promotion. They are truly gifts with purpose.

  • To book one of the meetings included in your package, click the ‘Schedule’ link in your order confirmation/receipt email or gift certificate.  This will take you to the appointment booking page where you can choose a date and time for your appointment.  Your package/certificate code will automatically be applied, and the cost of your appointment will show as £0.00.  Follow and complete the checkout process.   

    Alternatively, go directly to the appointment booking section for a service on the Elite Careers website.  Choose a date and time for your appointment and follow the checkout process.  Manually enter your package/certificate code in the ‘Package, gift, or coupon code’ field and click ‘apply’ – this will reduce the total appointment price to £0.00.  Complete the process by clicking ‘Pay and Confirm’. In either case, you will receive an email confirming your appointment.

  • No. You can book appointments flexibly - when you need to and over a period of time before the package code expires. For example, you may book an appointment in one week, and then book another appointment two weeks later. All appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled as needed.

  • To check how many appointments you have remaining, click the ‘Schedule’ link shown in your Order Confirmation/Receipt email or on your Gift Certificate and then follow the ‘CHECK CODE BALANCE’ link on the appointments booking page.

  • All Packages must be used within 180 days of purchase otherwise they will expire.

  • Packages, including Gift Packages, are refundable within 30 days of purchase and subject to the following:

    If none of the services within a package have been used, a full refund will be given. Otherwise, the discounted value of any services used in the package, including any of the consultant’s time used outside of online meetings, will be deducted from the amount refunded. For example:

    • You purchased a package for £504 which includes four meetings.

    • Each discounted meeting is therefore valued at £126 (i.e. £504/4 meetings = £126 per meeting).

    • You booked three meetings valued at a discounted total of £378 (i.e. £126×3 = £378)

    • £378 will be deducted from the value of the total package and you will be refunded £126 (i.e. £504-£378 = £126).

    This means that there is no penalty or added charges that reduce your refund.

    To initiate a refund, please email a copy of your receipt to contact@elitecareers.co.ukwith the subject line “Refund Request.” Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment and processed in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

General

  • PayPal and credit cards can be used as methods of payment. When making payments you may see ‘Digital Advantage’ as the Merchant on your banking app or bank/credit card statements.

  • Industry-standard trusted processing platforms are used to process payments. Credit card payments are processed using Stripe (www.stripe.com) and PayPal is also used.

  • The Zoom video conferencing platform is used for meetings. You do not need a paid account for this. You will be sent a link to the Zoom meeting by email when you book a meeting. Please ensure that your camera and microphone are working before joining a meeting.

  • Digital Advantage and Elite Careers are trading names of Digital Advantage Consulting Ltd. A shared infrastructure for payments processing and web hosting is used. When making payments, you will see ‘Digital Advantage’ as the Merchant Name.

  • Yes, as a recent graduate, you are eligible for a 50% discount on up to five individual consultation appointments with Elite Careers when booked within six months of your official graduation date. This discount applies to individual sessions across the following services: Career Development Coaching, Interview Preparation, Job Application Support, Skills & Knowledge Development, and Workplace Challenges & Confidence. The discount does not apply to service packages or gift packages.

    To qualify, you must provide evidence of your graduation date prior to your first appointment. Acceptable evidence includes a copy of your graduation certificate showing the graduation date or a formal letter from your academic institution confirming the completion date of your studies. Documentation should be emailed to contact@elitecareers.co.uk.
